Grant: 500 CHF + accommodation, meals, and full project production covered

About the Opportunity

Fotofestival Lenzburg announces an open call for the next edition of its Bold and Talented Programme, an initiative supported by the BAT Foundation. The program pairs four emerging curators with four emerging artists to co-develop exhibitions interpreting the 2025 Festival theme: Forever Happy.

Participants will work under the mentorship of the Festival’s curatorial team and benefit from a collaborative and supportive framework that includes workshops, site visits, and networking events.

Selection Criteria

Background in photography, curating, scenography, or architecture
Recommendation letter from a university tutor or curatorial mentor
Cover letter with an initial interpretation of the theme
Portfolio of completed curatorial projects (if applicable)
Availability to be in Lenzburg for the Festival opening and other project-related events

Two on-site workshops in June and September (accommodation and meals included)
Personal tutoring from the curatorial team
Full production support and technical assistance
Coverage of travel-related accommodation and food costs
Grant of 500 CHF to support personal and travel expenses
