The Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson launches the first edition of the Martine Franck Curatorial Research Grant, aimed at supporting researchers and curators in developing a curatorial and research project centered on Martine Franck and/or Henri Cartier-Bresson. Working from the Fondation’s archives, the selected candidate will receive €7,000 to carry out the research, curate an exhibition in the Fondation’s 80m² “Tube” gallery, and oversee the publication of a related book.
The 2025 edition is exclusively dedicated to Martine Franck’s work. The Fondation covers production costs for both the exhibition and the publication. The recipient also benefits from mentoring, research support, and direct access to the archives.
Eligibility
Open to researchers of any nationality enrolled in or graduated from a doctoral program, and curators enrolled in or graduated from a graduate-level program. Applicants must demonstrate prior research, curatorial, or publication experience and be recommended by a research or curatorial professional.
