The 2026 edition of Art in Public Space Tyrol invites artists and curators to respond to the theme Seelenschwitzen (Soul Sweating), exploring emotional and physical tension in public contexts. The programme encourages site-specific and socially engaged projects that address themes such as collective transformation, corporeality, and shared emotional experiences.
Funding Programme Details
- Project-based funding for 2–3 selected proposals
- Public space projects in rural or urban Tyrol
- Open to interventions, sculpture, sound, or performance
- Projects must be realizable between March and November 2026
- Funding up to 100% of eligible costs (total fund: €80,000)
Eligibility Criteria
- Individual artists, collectives, and curators
- Based in the European Economic Area (EEA) or European Free Trade Association (EFTA)
- Previous experience in contemporary public art required
