Pace Gallery is seeking a proactive Exhibitions Manager to oversee the planning and execution of its exhibitions in New York. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments, artists, estates, and external vendors to ensure the successful delivery of exhibitions, maintaining the gallery’s high standards of quality, design, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Project manage multiple exhibitions simultaneously, including scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination

Maintain timelines and deliverables using Asana and related tools

Facilitate meetings, manage budgets, and ensure smooth interdepartmental communication

Oversee installation logistics with registrars, shippers, and Art Resources

Support design development in line with artist/studio vision and budget

Process invoices and archive documentation

Generate reports and analytics for internal use and strategic planning
Candidate Profile

3+ years of experience in exhibition or artist studio project management

Degree in Art History or related field preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills

Experience with Microsoft Office, project management platforms (e.g. Asana), and ideally CAD tools (SketchUp, Vectorworks, etc.)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving deadlines
