LACMA is seeking a detail-oriented Manager to provide high-level administrative and operational support to the Senior Deputy Director for Conservation, Curatorial, and Exhibitions. This full-time role involves budget tracking, communication management, coordinating meetings, and supporting strategic initiatives across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Manage communications and correspondence for the Senior Deputy Director

Track budgets and assist department heads with financial documentation

Process contracts, purchase orders, and payments

Organize meetings, prepare reports, and maintain acquisition highlights

Serve as liaison between departments and external partners locally and internationally

Administer curatorial travel plans and expenses

Support curatorial work related to the permanent collection and exhibitions

Conduct research and prepare presentations

Manage scheduling and daily operations for the Senior Deputy Director
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Business, Accounting, or related fields

Minimum 4 years administrative experience, preferably in a museum or cultural institution

Strong skills in managing budgets, schedules, databases, and communications

Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities

Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
