Fotografiska is launching a new digital-first platform to spotlight emerging image-makers within the museum’s international network. This hybrid curatorial-editorial role combines digital content production, artistic curation, and community building.
The selected candidate will lead the editorial direction, curate photographic content, manage a submission-based platform, and collaborate across departments to support both digital exhibitions and broader storytelling formats aligned with Fotografiska’s global voice.

Key Responsibilities

Curate and publish photographic content and artist features

Write or commission editorials, interviews, and thematic highlights

Oversee the CMS and optimize content for SEO and discoverability

Maintain artist communications and curate community engagement formats

Collaborate with exhibitions and campaigns across Fotografiska’s museums
Ideal Candidate Profile

3–5+ years experience in at least 3 of the following: copywriting, curation, content production, project management, or communications

Background in art, culture, photography, or editorial platforms

Fluent in English with a sharp, contemporary writing style

Skilled in CMS platforms, basic design tools, and visual storytelling

A plus: audio/video editing skills, experience with online artist communities, or social media presence reflecting curatorial sensibilities
