The LWL Museum of Art and Culture in Münster seeks a scientific trainee to work on the catalogue and other publications for the internationally renowned Skulptur Projekte 2027, curated by What, How & for Whom / WHW. The role offers experience at the intersection of contemporary art, public space, and publishing, within a major international art exhibition held every 10 years.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing the exhibition catalogue (concept, research, writing, editing, production, distribution).

Support accompanying digital and print publications.

Collaborate with artists, curators, researchers, designers, translators, and editors.

Contribute to the public program (talks, panels, symposia, artist discussions).

Conduct research and write texts (object descriptions, blog entries, exhibition copy).

Support grant applications and partnerships.
Requirements:

Master’s or equivalent in art, art history, cultural studies, political science, curatorial studies, anthropology, visual culture, literature, theatre, media, or communications – or another relevant field.

Initial professional experience in art/culture and in producing publications (print/digital) and art-related writing.

Strong interest in contemporary art, public art, and publishing as a curatorial approach.

Excellent German and English (other languages welcome); driving licence (Class B).
