Responsibilities
- Collection Care: Inventory management, condition checks, database maintenance, coordination of restorations and photography, organization of acquisitions and sales.
- Archive: Maintenance of physical and digital archives, library care, research, documentation and certificates, support for Catalogue Raisonné projects.
- Loans: Preparation of condition reports, image materials, catalogue editing, supervision of external loans.
- Exhibitions & Events: Organize and support internal exhibitions, tours, and events; preparation of exhibition materials.
- Database & App: Maintain the collection database, Collection App, and digital image archive.
- Communication: Manage the collection’s website and Instagram account.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in art history or a related field.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in collection management or as a registrar.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, collection databases, Apple environment).
- Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and discretion with confidential information.
- Strong communication skills and professionalism in interactions with internal and external contacts.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.
