Main Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all temporary exhibitions and special events at Kunstmuseum Gelsenkirchen
- Manage exhibition timelines, budgets, and quality control
- Oversee print and digital media for museum projects
- Support the implementation of the museum’s digital strategy (website, newsletter)
- Lead the establishment and ongoing development of a Friends’ Association for the museum
- Work closely with the museum’s director
Requirements
- University degree in Art History, Cultural Studies, or a related field (Bachelor, Diploma, or Master)
- Strong interest in postwar and contemporary art
- Creativity and sense for design, space, and visitor flow
- High degree of initiative, responsibility, and organizational skills
