Public Programs Manager

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA (Hybrid eligible)
The Public Programs Manager oversees all aspects of ICA’s public programs, from planning to on-site implementation, ensuring alignment with exhibitions and communications goals. The role includes project management, administrative coordination, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and support of community-based and exhibition-related programmatic activities. The manager contributes to shaping public engagement initiatives, enhancing audience experience, and strengthening connections across ICA’s diverse audiences and the University of Pennsylvania community.
Employment Details
- Full-time, hybrid-eligible position
- Annual salary: $55,000–$70,000 (based on qualifications and experience)
- Reports to the Director of Public Engagement & Research
- Responsible for project management, administrative operations, and coordination across departments
- Involves managing contracts, budgets, logistics, and partnership documentation
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree and 2–3 years of relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Suite, Google Drive, Eventbrite, and project management software beneficial
