The Botín Foundation offers a fellowship for specialized training abroad in curatorial studies, aimed at acquiring professional skills in museum management and exhibition organization. The training must focus on contemporary art (from the avant-garde to the present). The fellowship is for one academic year, with a possible extension under the same conditions.

Eligibility:

Diploma, degree, graduate, or postgraduate student in Fine Arts, Art History, Philosophy and Aesthetics, Literature, Humanities, or Art Criticism, or professionals with proven experience in the field

Spanish nationality or at least five years of residency in Spain

Age between 22 and 40 years

Proficiency in the language of the host institution

Written acceptance from the chosen training center

Stipend: €18,000 for travel, accommodation, living expenses, etc., plus up to €12,000 for tuition fees

Payment schedule: 45% at start, 25% in the following two quarters, 5% upon receipt of final report
