MOCA Toronto is seeking an Exhibition Manager to oversee the production and realization of exhibitions, working closely with artists, curators, and the production team. The role includes managing budgets, installation timelines, shipping, loans, condition reporting, and coordination of preparators. The Exhibition Manager ensures exhibitions meet safety, conservation, and accessibility standards, and participates in health and safety committees.

Requirements

3–5 years experience in a museum, gallery, or arts institution in exhibitions or production

Minimum 2 years in a leadership role

Hands-on experience with artists and technicians, including procurement and fabrication

Knowledge of safety protocols, environmental guidelines for contemporary art, international art transport, and condition reporting

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
