Key Responsibilities
- Develop and teach foundation courses in dialogue with the department
- Foster a critical and practice-based understanding of media art, with strong emphasis on performance and time-based media
- Mentor students in developing artistic projects linking theory and practice
- Initiate and lead collaborative research projects involving students
- Organise workshops, coordinate seminars, and prepare public presentations and exhibitions
- Contribute to inclusive curricular and discursive practices
- Provide organisational support within the Media Art department
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- A completed higher education degree in Fine Arts, Media Art, Performance Studies, or a comparable field
- Artistic practice and/or research experience in time-based media and performance
- Proven teaching experience and experience facilitating group processes
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to inclusive academic environments
- Very good German language skills and confident written and spoken English
