Spike Art Magazine is seeking a versatile Editor to join our team as we expand into new publishing projects. We are looking for an individual with strong journalistic instincts – someone capable of identifying relevant, timely angles and spotting emerging trends in contemporary art and digital culture.

The Role

Conceiving, commissioning, and editing content for print and online.
Writing and editing newsletters and social media copy in Spike’s distinct tone.

Requirements

2–3 years of editorial experience in art and culture publishing
A non-academic, journalistic approach to contemporary culture
Exceptional writing skills (PR copy, newsletters, social media)
Native English fluency (German is a plus)
Berlin-based candidates only, or willing to relocate

Terms

Position: Freelance
Remuneration: Based on experience
Start Date: Immediate
