Paul Smith’s Foundation, established in 2020 to support emerging creatives in fashion, visual arts, and design, is seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. This role sits at the operational heart of the Foundation, ensuring smooth, efficient, and values-aligned delivery of programmes, residencies, and projects including the Fashion Residency, International Art Prize, Archive Residency, and British Makers Design Grant.
The Project Coordinator will manage timelines, logistics, evaluation, and partner liaison while supporting the operational and event-related activities of the Foundation. This position reports to the Foundation Director and works closely with the Marketing Executive and wider team.
Job Details
- Full-time permanent
- Salary: £37–£40k + seasonal clothing allowance, discretionary discount, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays, pension contribution
- Start date and working schedule: hybrid flexibility available
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day coordination of multiple projects and programmes
- Manage timelines, milestones, deliverables, and reporting aligned with strategic objectives
- Maintain programme systems, documentation, and operational processes
- Support budgeting, financial tracking, and evaluation
- Coordinate events, residencies, workshops, alumni gatherings, and partner showcases
- Liaise with artists, alumni, partners, suppliers, and internal team members
- Prepare internal updates, presentations, and reports
Eligibility Criteria
- Proven experience in project or programme coordination, preferably in arts, culture, fashion, philanthropy, or creative sectors
- Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a small, evolving team
- Experience with budgeting, evaluation, and liaising with artists or partners
- Desirable: experience with residencies, commissioning programmes, trustee reporting, or using CRMs and evaluation platforms
