The Edna W. Andrade Fund supports grants for local or national museums or nonprofit art organizations to benefit visual fine artists from the Greater Philadelphia area. Grants range from $5,000 to $25,000 and may fund acquisitions, commissions, or one-person exhibitions, as well as educational, cultural, humanitarian, or environmental projects led by artists or artist groups.
Grant Details
- Amount: $5,000 – $25,000
- For nonprofit museums or organizations with 501(c)(3) status
- Organizations must have produced at least three professional public exhibits or projects in the last five years
- Religious institutions may only apply for nonsectarian activities
- Must have a non-discrimination policy covering legally protected characteristics
Eligibility
- Projects must benefit visual fine artists (painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, sculpture) from the Greater Philadelphia area (PA: Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Philadelphia; NJ: Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, Mercer)
- Grants cannot fund prior activities, private foundations, government agencies, endowment/capital projects, or advocacy/lobbying
- Individual artists cannot apply directly
