Organization: Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (Madrid, Spain)
Position: Head of the Exhibitions Area (permanent, non-convention labor personnel, assigned to the Artistic Sub-directorate)
Salary: Base salary: €50,249.34/year | Bonus pay: €8,374.93/year

- Written theoretical exam (max 20 pts): 2 topics from specific program (2.5 hours + 15 min oral defense). Minimum 10 points required.
- Practical case (max 30 pts): 2.5 hours + 15 min oral defense. Minimum 15 points required.
Merit assessment (max 40 points):
Professional experience (30 pts): 0.1 pts per 30 days of full-time work in museum/contemporary art center roles (coordination, curation, management, production, team supervision, project development). Max 5 pts per function type. Only experience from the last 10 years counts.
Additional education (10 pts): Doctorate (3 pts), Master’s (2 pts), additional Licentiate (1 pt); relevant courses (max 2 pts); languages: English C1 (2 pts), English B2 (1 pt), other language B1+ (0.5 pts)

- Supervise temporary exhibition projects and administrative management
- Manage agreements with artists, curators, researchers, institutions
- Develop exhibition calendar (main site, external venues, collection exhibitions)
- Supervise new production works, site-specific interventions
- Collaborate on curatorial lines with Artistic Sub-director/Director
- Coordinate loans, transport, storage, conservation conditions
- Oversee museography design and exhibition installation
- Manage textual production for exhibitions
- Collaborate with Education, Public Programs, Editorial, Communications, and Study departments
- Propose and manage exhibition travel to other institutions (Spain and abroad)
- Maintain relationships with museums, art centers, artists, curators internationally
