The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking an Art Collection Curator to manage and develop its corporate art collection at its headquarters in Luxembourg. The role focuses on aligning the collection with the Bank’s strategic priorities, including sustainability, innovation, and social progress, while supporting contemporary European artists and emerging talent.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the artistic vision and curatorial strategy
- Lead accessioning and deaccessioning processes
- Engage with contemporary European artists and emerging talent
- Curate exhibitions and interpretive programmes
- Advise the Art Committee on acquisitions and collaborations
- Collaborate with collection management on implementation and logistics
- Represent the collection externally with institutions, galleries, and partners
Eligibility Criteria
Required:
- Degree in Art History, Museum Studies, Curatorial Studies, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in curating or managing contemporary art collections
- Strong knowledge of contemporary European art
- Experience organising exhibitions or public programmes
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French with good command of the other
Preferred:
- Experience in corporate or institutional environments
- Knowledge of sustainability and social responsibility in the arts
- Familiarity with collection management systems (e.g. MuseumPlus, TMS)
- Project management and budgeting skills
- Additional EU language skills
