The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) invites applications for the Dwell Here: One Month Residencies 2027, a research-focused programme for artists, curators, and interdisciplinary practitioners. The residency supports site-responsive inquiry within the museum context, combining independent research with participation in a seasonal Research Assembly bringing together an international community of peers and mentors.
Programme Details
- Duration: 1 month residency
- Timing aligned with one of three Research Assemblies:
- March 3–9, 2027 (Spring)
- June 9–15, 2027 (Summer)
- September 22–28, 2027 (Autumn)
- 3 weeks independent research + 1 week collaborative assembly
- Free shared accommodation (private bedroom)
- Access to shared studio (if required)
- Weekly bursary: €250
- One return travel covered (for international participants)
- Self-catered residency (some hospitality provided)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be based internationally or in Ireland
- Work across visual arts, design, architecture, curatorial or related fields
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to research-based practice
