Tate Modern is seeking an Assistant Curator, International Art to support the delivery of selected exhibitions, Collection displays, film and performance programmes, commissions and events.

The role will involve coordinating projects across departments, supporting research and administration, maintaining exhibition documentation, assisting with loan requests and budgets, drafting interpretation texts, liaising with artists and external partners, and contributing to Tate’s online programme communications.

The Assistant Curator will also support the development of Tate’s international art Collection, including research for acquisitions, acquisition proposals, grant applications, catalogue files, collection enquiries and texts for Tate’s website.

Candidates should bring a broad understanding of international art from 1900 to the present day, experience working in a museum or gallery, excellent writing and presentation skills, strong organisational abilities, and a collaborative approach to working across teams and with external partners.
