Your Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Collection Department, including personnel management, team development, and resource control
• Curatorial and administrative care of the entire collection in collaboration with the Collection Department
• Shared responsibility for the expansion of the collection
• Scholarly cataloging and documentation of the collection
• Development of strategies, workflows, and project plans in collaboration with the respective specialist staff for all areas of responsibility
• Monitoring the implementation of planned strategies, workflows, and project plans
• Management of registraria, loan transactions, and transport accompaniments
• Conception and realization of exhibitions within the context of the collection
• Budget planning, monitoring, and responsibility for exhibitions within the context of the collection

Requirements

• Several years of experience in a managerial role within an exhibition operation
• Ideally a completed university degree as well as additional training in art history / cultural management
• Ideally expertise in modern and contemporary art
• Leadership qualities and social competence
• Fluent English, written and spoken
