Responsibilities

The intern will:

• Support the preparation and delivery of participating artists’ projects;
• Organise and maintain artist materials and archives;

• Help compile materials for the accompanying publication;
• Support the preparation of international funding applications;
• Assist with communication and collaboration between departments;
• Coordinate artist travel and other schedules;
• Support the daily administration of the Artistic Office; and
• Assist with international correspondence.

Requirements

Applicants must:

• Remain enrolled at a university throughout the entire internship period;
• Have good computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace;
• Be confident communicating verbally and in writing in German and English;
• Have strong organisational skills;
• Be able to work independently and collaboratively; and
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners.

The Berlin Biennale also welcomes applicants who demonstrate:
