Cultivamos Cultura invites applications for the “Bom Dia” OASis Residency 2027, an international residency programme supporting artistic research, experimentation and interdisciplinary practices in São Luís, Portugal.
One proposal will be selected for a residency lasting between 7 and 30 days in March 2027. The programme welcomes artists, creators and researchers from any discipline, particularly those working at the intersection of culture and other fields.
The residency is part of OASis, an initiative encouraging artistic exchange and engagement with local communities. Residents are invited to connect with the community in São Luís and the wider Odemira region through activities such as artist talks, walks, workshops and open studio visits.
Residency Programme
The selected resident will develop an artistic project during their stay at Cultivamos Cultura. The resulting work will be included in the OASis group exhibition in 2027, presented to local audiences and across the international OASis network.
One artistic output will also become part of the Cultivamos Cultura collection.
Proposals engaging with local or natural materials, ecological concerns and the sustainable future of diverse communities are particularly encouraged. Community interaction and international artistic exchange are central to the programme.
