
Art Researcher

Heni Publishing is a small but busy publishing company based in the heart of Soho, London. They produce a variety of print and online materials. They are looking for a full-time art historian (fluent in German) to assist a research team in creating and managing content for a website of a contemporary artist.
The role will involve research in secondary literature and other relevant resources, for which great accuracy and attention to detail is essential. The candidate should be a confident and versatile writer able to create texts following a set brief. They are looking for a researcher and writer with a proactive attitude and a diligent work ethic. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Core Duties
• Research in secondary literature
• Writing of art historical texts
• Researching past and upcoming exhibitions, events, collection details and auctions in relation to the artist’s work
• Liaising with artist studio and team members to co-ordinate the updating of the website
Requirements
• A good degree in art history or related field
• Fluent in written and spoken English and German
• Experience in academic research and writing
• Ability to take on projects individually as well as part of a small team
