Project Manager and Marketing Lead

On the anniversary of the 15th Pavilion commission in 2015, the Serpentine launched a nationwide campaign: Build Your Own Pavilion, a young architect’s challenge for 8-14 year-olds, inviting them to design their own Pavilions, either in workshops or at home, and enter them into a competition.
Created by the Serpentine’s digital team together with ed-tech Kidesign and supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies the project celebrates and promotes architecture to young people everywhere, encouraging them to engage in the task of designing the Pavilions of the future. The project returns for its second year this summer, with an expanded UK workshop tour, an online competition open to global entries and a new digital design category.
We are looking for a creative and experienced Project Manager and Marketing Lead to the deliver an ambitious community engagement strategy around the Build Your Own Pavilion project, with the aim of significantly increasing engagement with the project.
