Salary: c. £50,000, according to experience.
Reporting to: Director, V&A Dundee
The Director of Exhibitions will play a key role in the realisation of V&A Dundee and our future success, delivering a public programme that excites and inspires audiences. As a department head, the post-holder will have two principal responsibilities: to lead the development, planning and implementation of the temporary exhibitions programme (comprising touring exhibitions from the V&A in London, as well as exhibitions generated by V&A Dundee itself); and to lead the realisation and future renewal of the permanent Scottish Design Galleries.
The Director of Exhibitions will have expertise in design (leading our research plan), as well as outstanding project management experience. This is a demanding and highly rewarding position that will play a vital part in the founding of a new institution.
