Tate’s vision is to champion art and its value to society.  The Curatorial Department, Tate Modern is responsible for the delivery of exhibitions, collection displays, live events and film programmes, ensuring the highest standard of content and delivery of this programme. It is also responsible for building the modern international aspect of Tate’s collections.

The registrar team within the Curatorial Department is responsible for the management and co-ordination of loaned artworks to Tate Modern’s major large-scale temporary exhibitions, displays, international exhibition tours, live performance, commissioned projects and film programme.

You will have relevant experience of working on temporary exhibitions within a museum or similar environment. You will have good attention to detail to effectively review and negotiate loan contracts.  You will be able to communicate and influence well with a range of internal and external partners to build and sustain effective working relationships. You’ll need experience of arranging Government Indemnity and commercial fine art insurance and extensive experience of arranging international fine art transportation to museum standards.
