In September 2015, Southbank Centre launched a £25 million two-year refurbishment project to breathe new life into the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room and Hayward Gallery. Our project includes many upgrades and alterations which will benefit our artists, visitors and partners, including letting natural light into Hayward Gallery for the first time, by creating a completely new set of pyramid roof lights.
