Head of Programme

£45-50k per annum dependent on experience
37 hours per week

Housed in a landmark industrial building on the south bank of the River Tyne in Gateshead, BALTIC is a major international centre for contemporary art attracting around 500,000 visitors per year.

We are recruiting for a Head of Programme to create, manage and plan an artistic programme of high quality and international standing.

This role will involve working closely with the Director to develop an inspirational and effective artistic programme for BALTIC.

You will provide management and leadership to the Programme team and work collaboratively across all teams at BALTIC.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of developing and managing a diverse large-scale contemporary arts programme with an international dimension, excellent people management skills and experience of UK public and trust fund environment.
