From McQueen to Pink Floyd, and the V&A’s new Exhibition Road Quarter in London to Design Society in Shenzhen, the V&A – the world’s leading museum of art, design and performance- is at one of the most exciting points in its history. We are embarking on an exciting new phase of the major programme of capital projects at the V&A known as FuturePlan, including a 5-year capital programme at South Kensington, a new V&A building on the Olympic site in east London, a new collections centre and a new masterplan at the Museum of Childhood.

We are looking for an experienced project professional to lead the Projects Team, and to manage and coordinate all projects undertaken by the V&A, whether on-site in South Kensington or off-site in East London, Dundee, China and beyond.

The successful candidate will have experience in project programme delivery, managing the coordination of wide reaching and complex cross organisational capital projects, preferably in the museum or cultural sector, on time and to budget. They will have proven leadership skills and experience of managing and/or influencing multi-disciplinary teams of consultants, experts and ideally museum professionals through successful delivery of projects.
