The Whitney Museum of American Art offers a full-time, paid summer internship for undergraduate students. This nine-week program includes training, direct work experience, professional development, and a weekly speaker series. The internship combines onsite work, with a minimum of three days per week required, and remote participation. It runs from Monday, June 10 to Friday, August 9, requiring full availability Monday through Friday.
Application Requirements
- Deadline: March 15, 2024, at 5pm ET

- Essay: 500-750 words. Discuss personal connections to the Whitney’s mission, reasons for applying, and expected gains from the experience. Paste it in the Cover Letter section.
- Portfolio: Required for Graphic Design applicants.
- Recommendation Letter: One letter needed, educational or professional. Not required for Research Resources applicants.
