Job Description:
Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf, is seeking an enthusiastic, responsible, and team-oriented individual for the role of Administration and Finance. This position, starting from January 3, 2024, and lasting for 14 months, entails the supervision of administrative tasks, acting as a crucial link between all Kunstverein team members, donors, cooperation partners, and the board.
Responsibilities include administrative management and planning of grant applications and usage confirmations, preparing monthly and annual financial statements in close cooperation with the association’s auditors, and assisting in budget control for ongoing projects. The role also involves personnel and contract management, as well as organizing exhibition and association insurances.
You will coordinate and organize events, including those at external venues, in compliance with legal and insurance requirements, and manage the supervisory team. Additionally, you will handle travel arrangements for the management and visiting artists.
Effective and independent management of general office correspondence, scheduling, phone calls, and preparation for association activities (board and advisory board meetings, general assembly) is a vital part of the position.
