Alternative Education Programme Curator
As Rupert looks forward to the twelfth year of the Alternative Education Programme, the organisation is looking for a new colleague who will follow the beaten track of the programme with care and boldly explore new directions.
It is important that the new team member has a strong interest in contemporary forms of education and pedagogy, has experience in this field, and will lead Rupert’s Alternative Education Programme. Rupert is looking for a colleague with strong leadership and teamwork skills, who can handle fast-paced and complex tasks in a dynamic environment. Empathy, curiosity, the ability to communicate clearly and an understanding of the local and international cultural landscape are the qualities Rupert is most looking for.
AEP OVERVIEW:
The Alternative Education Programme is one of Rupert’s core activities. Operating for 12 years to international acclaim, the Rupert AEP has welcomed artists from all over the world, concentrating on the mentorship of artistic ideas and experimentation.
The AEP curator will develop the programme’s future direction, in close collaboration with the Rupert team, and help introduce new ideas and expressions into all our activities.
Working languages at Rupert are Lithuanian and English.
Hours of work: full time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00 (with an hour-long lunch break); working hours can be flexible, depending on the employee’s preference. Occasional weekend and evening work will be required, compensated by time off in lieu.
Salary: € 1800 monthly (before tax) fixed salary, additional benefits and/or bonuses possible on project basis.
Start date: July 2024.
