Job Description

DAG seeks an experienced and knowledgeable Art Advisor to guide clients through the art acquisition process. This role involves providing expert advice on art selection and building lasting relationships with collectors. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of the art market, strong communication skills, and a passion for connecting individuals with art.

About DAG:
Founded in 1993, DAG is a leading commercial gallery specializing in Indian and South Asian Modern and Contemporary Art. It is renowned for curating exhibitions and selling an extensive range of 20th Century art, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, watercolors, and lithographs. DAG actively participates in prestigious national and international art fairs such as Art Dubai, Art Basel Hong Kong, Art Stage Singapore, Masterpiece London, and the India Art Fair in New Delhi. DAG’s innovative pavilion designs and curated art presentations have earned multiple awards.

  • The selection process includes 2-3 rounds of interviews and may involve a brief assignment.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Art History, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in an art gallery or related sales role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian modern art.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Flexibility with working hours when necessary.
