The Zentralinstitut für Kunstgeschichte (ZI) in Munich, a leading non-university research institute for art history in Germany, is seeking an Art Historian (m/f/d) to join their team starting March 1, 2025. The institute boasts one of the largest art history libraries worldwide and provides an excellent working environment for the international academic community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the ZI’s fellowship program and support national and international Fellows during their stay.
- Organize and coordinate the institute’s extensive events program.
- Contribute to the ZI’s research activities with your own academic focus (desirable if this research area is not yet represented at the ZI).
- Participate in various scientific activities of the ZI.
Requirements:
- PhD in Art History.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent social and communication competencies.
- Experience with international networking and cooperation.
