The internship provides hands-on experience in the Registration Department of the Art Museum, working with both physical and digital collections, and is ideal for students or recent graduates aspiring to careers in art registration, curatorial work, collection management, or digital asset management.

- Responsibilities include digitization, database management, art handling, and collaboration with museum staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist in digitization and upload of collection images in the Digital Asset Management System (DAMS).
- Crop, verify, and correct data for online collections portals.
- Handle and transport art objects for digitization under supervision.
- Participate in internship programming and present a final project.
- Collaborate with Collections Information Specialist, Technicians, and Imaging Team.
Candidate Profile
- Enrolled college student or recent graduate (within 1 year) in Art History, Museum Studies, Library Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge of PC operating systems and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Collaborative mindset, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest or experience in collections management, art handling, or museum work is desirable.
