Grün Berlin is Seeking a Project Manager for Art

As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Art, you will be engaged with all relevant phases of production, exhibiting, and mediating contemporary art, with a focus on art in public space within Spreepark. You will report directly to the artistic direction of the Spreepark Art Space. Additionally, you will be integrated into the interdisciplinary Spreepark team. The scope of duties is diverse, challenging, and relies on initiative.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Management of art projects in indoor and outdoor spaces (creation of project schedules, reports on project progress, etc.)
- Project management and substantive collaboration on exhibitions, performance formats, symposia, events, and workshops
- Assumption of administrative tasks, including responsible oversight of procurement processes in accordance with legally valid procurement regulations; execution, monitoring, and documentation of commercial processes (invoice receipt, payment, etc.); budget controlling at the level of art projects
- Processing of contracts and orders, as well as contract management in our ERP system
- Preparation and follow-up of meetings as well as minutes
Your profile
- Completed university degree or similar qualification (art history, cultural management, or comparable field)
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in the cultural sector and with projects of international standing
- Negotiation-level proficiency in German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Experience with relevant databases is an advantage
- Strong communication skills, team orientation, and quick comprehension
- Independent, structured, and analytical working style
- Resilience and willingness to work on weekends and at irregular hours
