KÖNIG GALERIE specializes in showcasing contemporary art from both emerging and established international artists, with a focus on younger generations. Known for its interdisciplinary, concept-driven program, the gallery works with various artistic media and offers a dynamic environment to engage with inspiring projects and an international network of colleagues.

Core Responsibilities

• Close collaboration with gallery artists, serving as the main contact for all inquiries related to the artists.
• Management of inventory and coordination of exhibitions for assigned artists, both in the gallery and at external locations.
• Project planning with artist studios and management, including budgeting, transport, setup, and press coordination.
• Documentation using ERP systems and contribution to publications and public projects.
• Budget management for new productions and organization of studio visits.
• Sales of artworks.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales and Artist Liaison in a reputable art gallery, with a proven track record.
• Established client network with private and public collections and international institutions.
• Deep understanding of the international art market.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, persuasive abilities, and empathy.
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Structured and responsible work approach, quick adaptability, and resilience.
• Hands-on mentality and strong team spirit.
• Proficiency in MS Office and database software (e.g., Artlogic).
• Fluency in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
