About the role
Join the Kamel Lazaar Foundation as an Artistic and Curatorial Projects Coordinator (visual and performing arts) at the Tilal Utique Artist Residency.
The position also includes secondary operational support to the music programming of the Ibraaz Center.
The coordinator will work in close collaboration with the Artistic Director, contributing to the implementation of the artistic vision and ensuring the smooth coordination of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Coordination of artistic projects, residencies, and public events
- Management of residency applications, open calls, and project proposals
- Operational organization of events, convenings, and professional gatherings
- Close collaboration with communication teams and facilitating information flow across projects
- Writing, coordination, and follow-up of grant and fundraising applications
- Daily collaboration with teams based in Tilal Utique and Tunis
- Ongoing support to the Artistic Director in the implementation of artistic and curatorial strategies
Secondary responsibilities (Ibraaz – support)
- Operational support to Ibraaz’s music department
- Follow-up on music-related projects (concerts, residencies, and collaborations) in coordination with relevant teams
Candidate profile
- Proven experience in cultural project management with curatorial sensitivity
- Strong skills in grant writing and funding applications
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Autonomous, well-organized, and rigorous, with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in multicultural and international environments
Conditions
- Position based in Tilal Utique (Bizerte), with regular travel to Tunis
- Possibility to reside at the artistic residency for occasional on-site duties
