13th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, Berlin, Germany
Type: Temporary, Part-Time or Full-Time (32-40 hours per week)
Duration: 3 months, with two periods available: 15 February – 14 May 2025 or 15 May – 14 July 2025
Compensation: €400 per month for full-time, pro-rated for part-time
Join the team behind the 13th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art and gain hands-on experience in the planning and realization of one of the most influential international exhibitions. This internship provides an opportunity to collaborate closely with artists, curators, and professionals in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Organize and manage artist materials and archives.
- Conduct research on artists, exhibitions, and related themes.
- Assist in the preparation of artist projects and funding applications.
- Coordinate schedules and travel for curators and office events.
- Provide administrative support to the Artistic Office.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled at a university for the internship duration.
- Strong MS Office skills and fluency in German and English (written and oral).
- Excellent organizational skills, self-motivation, teamwork, and communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Berlin’s art and cultural scene.
- Familiarity with additional languages and flexibility to work evenings occasionally.
- Interest in diversity, inclusion, and sustainability topics.
