ArtLab Editorial Fellowship
Overview
Hyundai Artlab is excited to announce the Artlab Editorial Fellowship for 2024. The fellowship seeks two art writers with innovative insights and strong community ties. These writers will use art to explore societal changes.
Fellowship Offerings
The selected fellows will each receive $10,000. They will write three articles for Artlab Editorial. The fellowship includes personal mentorship from industry experts like Charlotte Kent and Andrew Russeth. Shannon Lee, the editor, will also provide regular guidance.
Fellowship Goals
The goal is to produce insightful art writing. This connects writers, readers, and artists globally. Fellows will develop articles over eight weeks. They will have in-depth sessions with their advisor and monthly meetings with the editor.
Application Details
Writers from any location and career stage can apply. The deadline is March 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM EST.
Inspired Artwork
Artist Cynthia Alfonso created “Vimbio” for this fellowship. It symbolizes the mission to unite artistic communities.
Mentorship and Guidance
Fellows will work closely with selected advisors and the editor. They aim to enrich the fellows’ experience and strengthen the community.
