The Bagri Foundation offers grants to non-profit arts organisations actively engaged in the cultural sector, supporting artistic projects that promote the sharing of traditional or contemporary Asian culture.
Grants range from £5,000 to £100,000 and are awarded twice a year. The Foundation supports initiatives across the UK and Europe, while international projects are considered by invitation only. Projects must lead to a tangible public outcome and align with the Foundation’s mission.
Grant Details
- Funding range: £5,000 – £100,000
- Open to non-profit arts organisations only
- Projects must have public outcomes no earlier than 1 September 2026
- Research and development-only projects are not eligible
- Applications from individuals are not accepted
- Education, relief work, development and healthcare donations are handled separately at trustees’ discretion

- Artisan crafts
- Exhibitions and Biennials
- Music
- New public commissions
- Performing arts
- Literature public events
- Prizes and awards
Eligibility Criteria
Projects must:
- Be hosted by established organisations with a track record of delivering artistic projects
- Promote the sharing of traditional or contemporary Asian culture
- Include established or mid-career artists from Asia or the diasporas
- Result in a tangible public outcome
- Align with the Foundation’s mission
Application Process
The Arts & Culture Grant follows a two-stage process:
Stage 1 – Expression of Interest
February 9 – March 11, 2026 (11:59pm GMT)
Stage 2 – Full Application (by invitation only)
Deadline: April 17, 2026 (11:59pm BST)
Outcome: Early July 2026
