Art Science Node (ASN) in Berlin is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Curator with a PhD and experience in art and science collaborations. The Assistant Curator will support ASN’s board in managing projects, conducting fundraising research, and developing PR and communication strategies. This freelance position offers the opportunity to work in an international, multidisciplinary environment, assisting in exhibitions, events, and workshops. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of curatorial experience, strong IT skills, and a commitment to connecting art and science.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with project management, event organization, and stakeholder support.
- Research and apply for cultural project funding.
- Develop and implement communication strategies.
- Collaborate with artists, scientists, and volunteers.
Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant field (mandatory).
- Minimum of two years of curatorial experience in art-science projects.
- Excellent research, IT, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English, with Polish or German as an advantage.
Contract Type:
Freelance, with an initial one-year contract and the possibility of extension for up to three years.
