Since its opening in 2000, Tate Modern’s programme of major temporary exhibitions, collection displays, commissions, film programmes, live events and projects have developed in diversity, international scope and profile.
This role provides an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development, organisation and management of a wide range of exhibitions and projects at Tate Modern as well as supporting the development of Tate’s research strategy and collection of international art including assisting with the South Asian Acquisitions Committee.
With proven relevant experience, you will have a broad understanding of international art from 1900 to the present day with an interest in art from South Asia. You will have demonstrable experience of working in a museum or gallery and organising exhibitions, alongside excellent research and writing skills and meticulous attention to detail. Whether working on an exhibition, collection display or an acquisition, with your outstanding organisational and administrative skills, you will be able to work collaboratively with a diverse range of internal and external colleagues and use your own initiative to ensure tasks and projects are completed to the highest standard.
