We are currently looking for an Assistant Curator to play an integral role in Serpentine Projects and Education team. This is your chance to bring your knowledge and experience of working with people in community contexts and care settings to this exciting role. You will use your planning and communication skills to work with artists developing new collaborative commissions with communities and audiences across London. We are looking for people with experience and enthusiasm for working with people and in gallery, educational and community settings. Skilled in managing your own workload you will be comfortable working with administrative and financial systems, co-ordinating projects through managing multiple resources and all technical requirements.
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Good knowledge of modern and contemporary art and arts education.
- Previous relevant experience in supporting projects with artists in public and community settings and working in community centres, community organisations and schools.
- Experience of working with people of all ages and backgrounds including children and young people.
