Tate Britain is seeking an Assistant Curator to join its Historic British Art team, with a focus on British art from 1850 to 1915.

The successful candidate will support the research, planning, administration and delivery of temporary exhibitions and collection displays, including projects devoted to British Impressionism and James Tissot. They will also contribute to the development of the permanent collection, acquisitions, publications and public programmes.

The position would suit someone with strong research and organisational skills, knowledge of British art from this period and an interest in contributing to more diverse understandings of British art history.
