This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed and creative Learning team whose vision is to act as a champion for art in society. The Schools and Teachers team is looking for a full time Assistant Curator, Schools and Teachers who is invested in making positive difference with and for all young people.
In this role you will have the opportunity to assist with the curation of an extensive, artist-led programme of activity for and with teachers and students at both Tate Modern and Tate Britain. Working collaboratively with the Convenor, Curator and the team, you will support the planning, development and delivery of the programme and be responsible for logistically producing activity on time and to a high quality.
You can also expect to work with curators, artists, creatives and academics along with a diverse range of schools, including mainstream primary and secondary and alternative settings.
You will be joining a large team committed to making a positive difference by enabling young people and teachers to learn about themselves and others through being with art.
Tate aims to attract and retain talented people from all backgrounds. We particularly encourage applications from black, ethnic minority, and disabled applicants as these groups are currently underrepresented in the cultural sector.
