The National Gallery are looking for an Assistant Programmer for Schools and Teachers who will be responsible for delivering and creatively developing the facilitated onsite schools programme which engages children and young people aged 3-18 in formal education in making meaningful connections between themselves, National Gallery paintings and the world in which they live.

The Assistant Programmer for Schools and Teachers will focus specifically on programming and delivering facilitated onsite tours and practical workshops for EYFS, primary and secondary school groups. The post holder is responsible for efficiently managing daily delivery of the facilitated programme during term time, and for teaching school groups as required. The post holder will collaborate with the Programmer for Schools and Teachers and other internal and external stakeholders to develop supplementary content and resources which support the needs of schools.
