We’re delighted to announce the opportunity for a curator to collaborate with British artist John Akomfrah RA on the development of his Commission for the 60th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia, opening in Venice in April 2024. This role provides a unique platform for a curator, with experience of commissioning new work and writing for a variety of audiences, to take the next step in their career.
About the opportunity
A fee of up to £20,000 is offered for the role subject to confirmation of deliverables upon appointment, since two of the deliverables are optional. Suggested deliverables are outlined in part six of the full Open Call document below.
We particularly welcome and encourage applications from candidates who are underrepresented in the Visual Arts sector.
