Van Ham Kunstauktionen GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Trainee (m/f/d) for our Works of Art & Art Nouveau department. The trainee will be responsible for organizing contracts with consignors, collaborating with photographers for photo editing, preparing images for the online catalog, setting up previews, assisting with telephone bidding during auctions, providing general customer advice, and managing consigned valuables.
Responsibilities:

Essential Skills:
- Completed studies in art history
- Internships or traineeships in art trade and auction houses
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Italian or French is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel, Internet, Outlook, Photoshop
- Team player with strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and flexibly
Desirable Skills:
- Driver’s license (Class 3)
